Vinca Rosa
Also known as Vinca or Periwinkle, it belongs to the Apocynaceae family. It is considered one of the medicinal–industrial plants and is toxic, as some pharmaceutical compounds are extracted from it.
The plant is upright, branched, and flowering, with a wide spectrum of colors, and it blooms throughout the year. It is classified as a perennial plant.
Cultivation:
The plant reaches a height of 15–75 cm, with a spread of 15–45 cm, and the flower diameter ranges from 2–3 cm.
It is planted to cover open spaces in gardens and areas exposed to direct sunlight.
Vinca is highly tolerant of hot and dry climates, which makes it suitable for planting in spring and early summer.
